FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Answers to common questions about branded products, setup fees, artwork, payment, delivery and quote requests.

Why do branded products need a quote?

Branded product pricing depends on the product, quantity, colour, size, branding method, branding position, setup fees, unit branding costs, artwork quality and stock availability.

The quote process lets Lilly White confirm the full branded order before production, instead of giving customers an incomplete product-only price.

Why are setup fees charged?

Setup fees cover the preparation needed for a specific branding job. This may include machine setup, screen setup, digitising, print setup, artwork layout or production preparation.

Setup fees are separate from unit branding costs. Unit branding costs are charged per item.

When are multiple setup fees charged?

Multiple setup fees may apply when branding changes by position, method, artwork or design.

For example, front branding and back branding are separate positions. Embroidery and laser engraving are separate branding methods. Different logos are separate artwork setups.

What artwork format is best?

Vector artwork is preferred for most professional branding. Suitable formats can include AI, EPS, SVG, editable PDF and CDR where available.

PNG and JPG files may be accepted for some print methods, but they should be high resolution and clear.

What if my logo is not print-ready?

If the logo is too small, blurry, flattened or not suitable for production, redraw or vector preparation may be required.

The cart quote form includes a logo redraw option. The current artwork redraw fee is P350 if required.

Can I request a quote and pay by EFT?

Yes. Use the Request Quote option in the cart and select the EFT / bank transfer option.

Lilly White can then prepare a formal quote or invoice instead of requiring immediate card payment.

Is stock guaranteed?

Stock availability can change. Lilly White will confirm availability before final quote approval or production.

If an item is unavailable, we can help suggest a suitable alternative.

How long does branding take?

Lead times depend on the item, quantity, branding method, artwork approval, supplier stock and production queue.

Urgent deadlines should be mentioned in the quote request so Lilly White can check whether the timeline is realistic.

Can products be personalised with names or numbers?

Yes, selected products and branding methods may allow personalisation such as names, initials, job titles, numbers or individual messages.

Personalisation usually requires a spreadsheet or approved list so spelling, sizing and matching can be checked before production. It may also add cost and lead time.

Do banners and display items need special artwork?

Yes. Display items usually need the correct artwork template, CMYK setup, suitable image resolution and careful checking before print.

If you are unsure, send us your artwork and we will advise what is needed before production.
